ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Centre and the Modern History Research Centre (近代史研究中心) jointly hold two paper sessions in The Sixth Baptist-Tsinghua Joint Conference from 18 to 20 May 2006. The title of the paper sessions was “Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Taipei: History, Culture and Urban Development” (港、滬、京、台：歷史文化與城市發展). 6 papers were presented in the sessions.
