Centre for China Urban and Regional Studies welcomed a five-membe delegation from Georgia State univeristy on 26th Jul, 2015. The delegation includes the Professor Risa Palm (Provost), Dr. Robin Morris (Associate Provost), Dr. Jun Liu (Associate Provost for International Initiatives and Professor of Applied Linguistics), Dr. Mary Beth Walker (Dean of Andrew Young of Policy Studie), and Dr. Don Reitzes (Associate Dean of College of Arts and Sciences).

Prof. Wang Donggen, director of the Centre, gave an introduction of the Centre's research focuses, research members and future development. The topic of urban development, wellbeing and geography was discussed. Both parties hoped to seek for oppotunity in collaboration and joint research programme beneficial for students and scholars. This visit established connection between two parties and helped maintain exchange in the future.
