Public Forum on "Hong Kong and Guangdong Province Integration:
Economics and Infrastructure"

OBJECTIVE

This forum aims at discussing the present and future economic and infrastructural developmental issues in Hong Kong and Guangdong Province, and most importantly highlighting the significance of promoting strategic integration between the two places － how to achieve the win-win relationship in order to boost the development of Pearl River Delta to be a head/hub of South China leading the economies of not only the mainland China but also the whole Asian region.

Speakers at the forum include academics, officials from the Hong Kong and Guangdong Provincial governments, and business practitioners. Each speaker will deliver a presentation of 10 to 15 minutes, addressing the issues on Hong Kong - Guangdong Province integration from the perspectives of his/her own profession. After all speakers have given their presentations, it will be followed by an open discussion of about 45 minutes.
