In conjunction with the above conference, Prof. John Logan (Brown University) and Prof. Fulong Wu (University of Southampton) and Prof. Si-ming Li held a workshop on “Multi-city Survey Project” on residential change in Chinese cities from 1 to 2 June 2006. The workshop comprised two parts; one is to discuss possible avenues of collaborative research using the data that collected from Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Guangzhou, and other was paper presentation based on previous analysis of the data. There was 9 papers were presented. And CURS paid the accommodation fee and the conference registration fee for participants in the workshop.
